More and more single women are hitting the road alone with RVs. Betty Chase set out years ago in a motorhome. RVtravel.com editor Chuck Woodbury caught up with her as she camped on public lands outside Quartzsite, Arizona, where she offers some advice to other single women who may wish to take up RVing, but who have doubts about doing it.
The one piece of advise she gave is priceless. Go with a group. Be smart about where you park & consider parking close to a group if you are boondocking. Travel with a dog that will bark at a stranger or an intruder.
